Share these barbecue chicken wings on movie night… or a sunny afternoon on the terrace!

Ingredients

  • Ketchup
    125 ml (½ cup) ketchup
  • Cassonade
    60 ml (¼ cup) brown sugar
  • Sauce Worcestershire
    30 ml (2 tbsp) Worcestershire sauce
  • Poudre d'ail
    5 ml (1 tsp) garlic powder
  • Ailes de poulet
    24 chicken wings

Also needed

  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) onion powder
  • 5 ml (1 tsp) paprika

Optional

  • 2.5 ml (½ tsp) oregano, chopped
  • 2.5 ml (½ tsp) thyme, chopped

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 205°C (400°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix the ketchup with the brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and oregano and thyme, if desired. Add the chicken wings and stir. Season with salt and pepper. Marinate for 1 to 2 hours in the refrigerator, if desired.
  3. Place the chicken wings with the marinade in a large baking dish.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes, turning the chicken wings over halfway through cooking time.
  5. Bake for another 2 to 3 minutes under the broiler.
