Bacon and Gouda Steak Rolls

Ingredients

  • tranche de bifteck sandwich
  • Pesto aux tomates séchées
  • Tranches de bacon cuit
  • Gouda
  • Bébés épinards

Steps

  1. Brush the steak slices with pesto.
  2. Place three slices of bacon and two slices of gouda on each steak slice. Cover with spinach and roll up the slices.
  3. Cut the rolls in half. Secure them with toothpicks.
  4. Heat a little olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Cook the rolls for 2 to 3 minutes on each side.

Side dish idea

Bacon Topping

Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Cook 4 slices of bacon, cut into pieces, for 3 to 4 minutes, until crispy. Remove excess fat from the pan. Add 125 ml (1/2 cup) chopped shallots to the pan and cook for 30 seconds. Remove from the heat and add 30 ml (2 tbsp) cider vinegar, 60 ml (1/4 cup) olive oil, 30 ml (2 tbsp) maple syrup and 30 ml (2 tbsp) chopped parsley. Season with pepper and stir.
