Ham and Vegetable Gratin

Ham and Vegetable Gratin

Ingredients

  • Pommes de terre grelots
    350 g creamer potatoes, cut in half
  • Brocoli
    250 ml (1 cup) broccoli, cut into little pieces
  • Cubes de jambon
    250 ml (1 cup) ham, cooked and diced
  • Mélange de fromages italiens
    375 ml (1½ cups) Italian shredded cheese blend
  • Chapelure
    80 ml (⅓ cup) plain breadcrumbs

Also needed

  • 1 carrot, chopped 
  • 45 ml (3 tbsp) melted butter 
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) chicken stock

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
  2. Cook the potatoes and carrot in a pot of boiling, salted water for 8 minutes. Add the pieces of broccoli and cook for another 3 minutes.
  3. Drain the vegetables and then put them back into the pot. Mix with the butter and stock. Add the ham. Season with salt and pepper. Distribute the ingredients into four small gratin dishes.
  4. Mix the cheese with the breadcrumbs. Sprinkle each serving with this mix.
  5. Bake for 10 minutes.
