Shrimp Linguine with Rosé Sauce

Ingredients

  • Linguines
  • Tomates en dés
  • Assaisonnement pour sauce rosée express El-Ma-Mia
  • Fromage à la crème
  • Crevettes nordiques

Also needed

  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 10 ml (2 tsp) chopped garlic

Optional

  • 1 broccoli chopped into florets

Preparation

  1. In a pot of boiling hot water, cook the linguine until al dente. If using, add the broccoli to the pot 3 minutes before the pasta is ready. Drain.
  2. Meanwhile, add oil to another pot. Warm over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. Add the diced tomatoes and El-Ma-Mia Seasoning for Rosé Sauce. Bring to a boil.
  4. Add the cream cheese and stir until completely melted.
  5. Using an immersion blender, emulsify the sauce until you get a smooth, creamy texture.
  6. Keep the sauce warm on low heat for 5 to 8 minutes.
  7. Add the pasta, broccoli, if using and shrimp. Salt and pepper to taste. Stir well. Reheat for 1 minute while stirring.
