Ingredients

  • Ketchup
  • Mélasse
  • Sauce Worcestershire
  • Bière blonde
  • Côtes levées

Optional

  • 1.25 ml (¼ tsp) liquid smoke

Preparation

  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat, until the temperature reaches 165°C (325°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix the ketchup, molasses, Worcestershire sauce, beer, and liquid smoke, if desired.
  3. Brush the ribs with half of the sauce. Set aside the rest of the sauce in a cool place.
  4. Wrap the ribs individually in aluminum foil.
  5. Place the ribs on the upper rack of the barbecue and close the lid. Cook for 1 hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours, until the meat easily separates from the bone.
  6. Adjust the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the aluminum foil from the ribs and cook directly on the grill for another 10 minutes, brushing them with the remaining sauce.
