Spaghetti With Meat and Vegetable Sauce

340 g of Spaghetti noodles
5 mild Italian sausages
375 ml (1 1/2 cups) of spaghetti sauce vegetable blend
1 can (398 ml) of tomato sauce
1 can (540 ml) of diced tomatoes with Italian spices
- 30 ml (2 tbsp) of olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- Cook the pasta al dente in a large pot of boiling, salted water. Drain.
- While the pasta is cooking, remove the casing from the sausages. Heat the oil in a pot over medium heat. Cook the sausages with the onion for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring to break up the meat.
- Add the vegetables. Pour in the tomato sauce and the died tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper. Let simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes over medium heat.
- Serve with the pasta.
