Ingredients

  • Courge Butternut
    375 ml (1 1/2 cups) butternut squash, peeled and diced
  • Assaisonnements italiens
    10 ml (2 tsp) Italian seasoning
  • Pâte à pizza
    1 prebaked pizza crust
  • Tranches de bacon cuit
    4 slices of bacon, cooked and cut into pieces
  • Mozzarella
    250 ml (1 cup) shredded mozzarella

Also needed:

30 ml (2 tbsp) olive oil

Optional:

30 ml (2 tbsp) green onion, chopped

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 205°C (400°F).
  2. Boil the diced squash in a pot of salted water for 6 to 8 minutes, until cooked but still crunchy. Drain and dry with paper towels.
  3. In a bowl, mix the Italian seasonings with the olive oil. Brush the pizza crust with the herbed oil. Top with squash, bacon and mozzarella.
  4. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, until the cheese is golden brown.
  5. Garnish with green onion before serving if desired.
