One-Pot Salmon Orzo

One-Pot Salmon Orzo

  • Fumet de poisson
  • Orzo
  • Asperges
  • Filet de saumon
  • Tomate cerise

Also needed

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) garlic, minced


  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) dill, chopped


  1. Heat a little olive oil in a large non-stick frying pan. Cook the onion and garlic for 1 to 2 minutes.
  2. Add the fish stock and orzo. Bring to a boil. Stir.
  3. Add the asparagus, salmon cubes, cherry tomatoes, and dill if desired. Cover and cook for another 7 to 10 minutes, stirring gently from time to time. Season with pepper.

    Salmon should maybe be seared prior, asparagus could be sautéed a bit with the onions. I added a few sun dried tomatoes with the sauce. Towards the end i added the tomatoes so as to maintain shape and not become sauce. Parmesan was a nice add to the end
