Cheesy Bacon-wrapped Jalapeno Poppers

This spicy snack is perfect for a relaxing afternoon on the terrace with a cold beer!

Ingredients

  • Fromage à la crème
    125 ml (½ cup) cream cheese
  • Cheddar vieilli 2 ans
    125 ml (½ cup) aged cheddar
  • Basilic frais
    45 ml (3 tbsp) basil, chopped
  • Piment jalapeños
    8 jalapeno peppers
  • Bacon
    8 bacon slices

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 205°C (400°F).
  2. Mix the cream cheese with the cheddar and basil in the food processor.
  3. Cut the tops off the peppers. Remove the seeds, then stuff the peppers with the cheese preparation and replace the tops.
  4. Wrap each pepper with 1 slice of bacon.
  5. Place the stuffed peppers in a gratin dish. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes.
